oh yeah, i dont really care if i could go up to the max settings while playing a game, my friend has an PNY Geforce 6600 AGP and it was on the low settings, and it looked pretty decent

Actually, nvidia's AA is worse than ATi's AA....so concluding from that...ATi = performance + eye candy. Nvidia = rushed products, albiet good products.

Oh, i heard that ATi has better HDR, but Nvidia has better AA/AF?.

nope, ATi has better AA/AF. Anandtech did a side by side comparison.
