I just recently purchased an Asus WL-107 Wireless adapter for my laptop. However, once I install the drivers and the program it doesn't acquire a network address. So I manually entered the IP, subnet mask and default gateway and it connects to the router. However, no packets are sent or received and I still can't connect to the internet. My computer in the other room connects with wireless perfectly fine. Am I missing something? How can I connect to the router and not be able to connect to the internet? It just doesn't make sense to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
