Default asus socket 754 vs socket 939

Ok im debating whether I should get a socket 754 or a socket 939. The 754 socket athlon64's seem to be cheaper in price so I could probably get the 3400-3500 but if i got the socket 939 i would be limited to 3200 probably. Can anyone tell me the difference in both sockets and which is better. People tell me socket 939 is better because I can get 2x pci express slots but I think im going to stick to agp.

Agreed. Go 939. It is the future, and is a bit faster output then the 754 pin configuration.
