Asus m5a97 has green led but wont boot

Hello,
I just yesterday purchased a Asus m5a97 mobo and Amd fx 4100 with power colour Radeon 6770 graphics card and a thermaltake v3 black edition with the stock psu. I have everything plugged in and the mobo has a green led to say there is power but my pc won't boot. Any suggestions why?

What exactly happens when you press the power button?

is the cpu power plug (either a square 4 pin or rectangular 8 pin) plugged into the mobo?

Front Panel plug is plugged in correctly?
