Default asap help please

hey, i was just trying to burn a dvd. and the softwear froze so i exited it. but the cd was still spinning really fast and i could not open it, so i put a papper clip in the little hope under the cd draw and it made some noise and stop and then just opened a little so i pulled it out, and closed it but now when i push the button to open the drive normaly nothing happends??? what do i need to do to fix this

i've heard of this happening, usually do to a under or over burn. yeah, the only way to stop it is the do what you did, or to do a reboot. it won't damage your cd/dvd drive. you'll only have a coaster.

Hmm....what kind of noises did the cd drive make?
