Default Anyone knows a good movie-maker?

Can anyone suggest me a better program than 'windows movie maker'?
All I want to do is a slideshow of some of my pictures.

Windows movie maker sucks, losing all the pictures' quality.

I want a program which can create picture slideshows, retaining the qualitiy of the original pictures. (preferably free)

in windows movie maker you can change to format and quality setting that you save a file as, so you will get high quality.

Well you mentioned slide show, so I immediately thought of Powerpoint. Your best bet then is PictureIT from Microsoft.
