Default Anyone ever fry a cpu?

I always hear about how dangerous overclocking is but I have never heard of anyone that lost their cpu to regular overclocking. If you pumped 2v in it or tried to get it to 7ghz I could see that happening, that doesn't really count. Has anyone ever burned their cpu with some regular overclocking? Just curious.

If they tried it, I'm sure the BIOS would get hung up and crash. THen you would have to CLR CMOS.

But isn't it true that even if you have a stable overclock you might have a resistor pop from a little too much voltage?

Most people stay away from rising the voltage anyways, produces too much heat.

You're not going to get much of an OC without raising the VCore.
