Default Any way to save desktop arrangement?

Of all the icons? Cause I am going to install newer Nvidia drivers, and when I do, it always switches the desktop to a low res, then back, and all my Icons get thrown in the center, and I have to reorganize everything... Gets to be a pain. Is there any way to save them in the spots they are in?

Yeah, mine are arranged a different way, and I have a LOT of icones, they border my screens, on both monitors... So it gets to be a pain to set them all back out....

I used to use iconoid, it saves your order and can restore it at any time http://www.sillysot.com/download.htm
