AMD64 Athlon 3200+ Socket-939
1.0GB DDR 400mhz
80GB IDE ATA133 8MB buffer
16x Sony DVD-ROM;
ATI Radeon 9600 pro 128MB DVI TV-OUT
400W PSU

wot do u think? any changes i need to make?

thanks

That is a great budget system. :)

You won't be able to play the newer games like BF2, Oblivion, and such on high settings but other than that, the system should perform wonderfully.

EDIT: Oh, if its within your budget, and your motherboard will support SATA, get a SerialATA150 hard drive.

Thats not bad to be honest, for a cheap system thats upgradable up to a point.

You might want to note though that for a new system, upgrading to PCI-E will be alot better if you play games since you can upgrade to newer cards later.

If you don't, then that seems pretty much okay.

Are you building the system yourself? Or is this a pre-built job?

i think i can live with out PCI-E but would want it in another futrure system. pre-built job lol i dont think i could build one myself.. i have done some minor stuff like add RAM PSU replacement but not too technical.
ok thanks for the posts will probly buy it
cheers

Yeah okay :)

I'm pretty sure you could build it though. Just takes a bit of practise :p
