any advice were i can get a CHEAP & used...

i wanna to get laptop for the times that i am on the go. i also want to get it extremely cheap but am not sure were to check. i only want it to be like 500mhz w/128mb ram and REALLY cheap. you know, its basically a web browser & word processor. anyways, i am not sure were to look because i have never bought a full computer as i've always built mine and bought parts via the internet. ebay sucks, cause 250mhz pII with 64mb ram sell for like $150-$200. so yea, any idea on where i should look?? (by the way i live in the US)

does anyone have any luck looking in pawn shops, good will, etc?? or should i try local computer stores??? anywhere else i would have a good chance of finding it???

THey're always happy to get really old laptop merchandise off their hands. They'll probably give you a good deal on one.
