antivirus?

can anyone tell me what they think is the best antivirus software it can be free or you have to pay

AVG is good, but Just from what I have used, NOD32 is my favorite.

Well I have been using Nod32 and it was great, But I must say I'm now on Kaspersky INTERNET suit 2007 that has the AV with it and I'm very impressed, so I would say NOD32 if is just the AV you want but if your also looking for a firewall as well Kaspersky is very good.

I used that for a while, and think its rubbish, its hogs the computer usage, takes forever to scan and its ad blocker is useless, the only thing I found any good with McAfee was its Antispyware program, I used there security suit version.

Anyways, my personal favorite is NOD32

I'm using Nod32, with ad-aware and spybot in my pc.. i have no problems with viruses and spyware so far.
