Default Anti Static Question

I have this Anti-Static Wrist Wrap:

To be safe, you just attach it to an unpainted part of the case and then attach it to your wrist as well?

Would this work fine with aluminium cases?

Yes, just make sure your case is grounded (plug the PSU into the socket)
