Default Annoying problem on boot

I have recently built my own custom pc for the first time. I found that after i had set up xp that i had installed it on the wrong partition (the partition that was intended for my page file). So i decided that i would reinstall windows on the partition that i had intended. This all went well and i deleted first version of windows that i had installed.

But now i find that when i boot it asks me which windows i would like to load:
Windows XP or you've guessed it, Windows XP. All i have to do is press enter, but i just find it a bit annoying.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you delete it in windows or did you do a reformat. It sounds like you just tried deleting in windows and it still is reconize small parts of it bringing you to that choose xp or xp screen.
