amd... i just can't stand macs and there non-compatabiltity with everything, plus there the only computers at my school so i can't even bring work back and forth (honestly, no floppy drive?)

Speaking of Apple, our elementary schools here in our district has migrated over to Intel based systems. Bye-bye Apple!!! All classrooms upgrade with 8 Intel P4 machines each. Finally...

I talked to the tech there and he said the reason why they're going with Intel is beause Intel has a partnership with education program. Included discounts, and support for schools and educational programs for kids to get involved with computers.
