erm, I havent every felt any heat on a ATI radeon 9800 memory chips. because there is none, hence the reason why they never needed a heat sink on them. Also, different archietcures mean different thermal power, and the reason for the radeon didn't need a huge HS/F is because it simply never needed it!

Well I knew some people that had 9800 Pro's that overheated. Maybe they're lying... But, that's what I've heard. Either way, it's an excellent card IF you aren't a hardcore gamer?
