Default AMD Turion X2 for Laptops

Hey, just saw this new processor in the tech ads recently. How does it stack up? I know its not good as the Intel Core 2 Duo, but is it equal to the Intel Core Duo? I'd just like to learn more about this processor.

It's probably around the Core Duo's performance range. Not sure, not many reviews out yet.

I would rather wait for Core 2 Duo Mobile instead. The Merom core owns.

Yeah, I keep seeing Centrino ads everywhere. Dual core everywhere you go!

the turion x2 is not a comprtitor of the core duo, its for lower end computers, that said, its a dual core turion, so it wont be slow processor.
