i dont no anything about AMD . but they probely dont have the same socket and a diffrent amount of pins. so no

dont spread information that isnt true.

the new quads will work but you will have to flash your bios FIRST. go to your motherboards website and get the latest bios and flash it on there and it will work. the bus speeds wont be as high and you wont get some other benefits of AM2+ like HT3.0 but youll be able to run the quad core at full speed.
