within a year the 64bit fad will be over..prices will crash just wait a year after longhorn comes out too upgrade.

There wouldn't be that much difference unless AMD continue with their 500Kb Caches. Which they won't because they will need to catch up with Intel.

1,000 AMD 1,200 Intel I think many will go wiht the Intel. Anyway - you can't get a good computer nowadays for 1,000 You'll need to save up 1,400+ for a 2006 Computer

Well yeah - but a Family is still going to pay 1,200 for an Intel over a 1,000 AMD even now in most cases. But soon families will be getting more Tech-Savvy with children or adults learning enough about them to realise that its often worth the extra money to get the endurance; so they don't have to buy a new PC for years.

Yeah - especially when it comes to wanting Intel 64s with 8 Meg Cache, eh Geforceboy!
