So it looks like Mid 2006 will be a great position to buy a new PC. When he Technology comes out is dreadful - because then they're rarring to make new stuff. However, by Mid 2006 when Longhorn comes out they'll be slowing down, advances will not come so fast and hence the computer will not slump in value so quickly as it would purchased Mid 2005.

All set in place now in my mind at least then - all I need now is the date to get here quicker and the money.

Anyway as for you still think amd are gunna fail, just cuz' we are all computernerds here we are the minority that buys PC's. I cant image a family saying hmm a £1000 PC or the £2000 intel one...hmmmm
