Default Re: AMD Price drop! 30% of Athlon 64s

computer shops are still useful. you can get them to bid against internet stores so that u get a good deal from them, then in case of any problems u can just walk into the store and have the tech take a look at it, instead of sending it post.
Bought my box from a local store, and i feel i got a good deal. Better than anything i could have purchased online since i live in canada and dont have access to the US sites.

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ [939 Socket] W/ ASUS "A8N-SLI Premium" (OC'd @2.4ghz) | 560W Silverstone Spider PSU | Kingston 1024 MB [512MB X2] DDR-400 PC3200 Memory | Dual MSI Nvidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR3 128-bit PCIe @555/1111 in SLI | Samsung 19" LCD 930B (8ms) | Western Digital 200 GB SATA II (x2) | LG Dual Format/Double Layer 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive

I buy smaller things from stores.. but I go to these small mom and pop like computer stores (for lack of better description). They are very cheap and in fact cheaper then online, though the selection isn't as good. But the major stores aren't cheaper.
