Do all of the fans in the computer turn on? Does the graphics card fan turn on? Does the CPU fan turn on? Can you open and close any CD drives you have? Any other moving parts that you notice are on. This can help us determine what is going on.

all the fans are on,i dont have a graphic card but i have an on board ati radeon hd 3200,the cpu fan is on it makes some noise also,when i press the eject button in dvd drive it doesnt open for the first time it opens after pressing 3 times,and i faced this problem before and it was alright after some 5 hrs but now this problem is continuing frm yesterday.
