All motherboards sporting the Intel X58 northbridge give you the option to Crossfire or SLI multiple graphics cards.

But the LGA1366 motherboards don't have memory controllers - the memory controller is built into the Nahalem CPU's.

Can you do both at the same time?

Some guy on OCN had GTX 260 SLI and HD 4890 crossfire going at the same time on his 790FX board

AMD's has the cheaper pricing, but the Core i7 is becoming a little more affordable and is worth every penny on that CPU.

The motherboards are more expensive, due to their designs and technologies in them. The memory controller is on the CPU.

A decent one will run you $250.
Microcenter has them for $199. I have one of their flyers right in front of me

I find that they usually have better prices on processors, from my experience...

Isn't the Microcenter deal in-store only though?
