ok thanks. but im also curious, is a computer like and xbox 360. where u can hook the system up to and HD monitor and it makes a huge difference it the quality of graphics like it does with consoles.

Technically, computer monitors have been HD for ages. Your monitor will already be able to do much higher resolutions than a TV.

Also i was adding up the numbers and the price of everything i wanted came out to be about 400-500 dollars. But i really only wanted to spend anywhere from 200-300 dollars. Where would the smartest places be to chop the price? Processor or graphics card?

Gaming performance will not suffer that much as most games are not threaded for quads, therefore, they cannot be fully exploited.

I would stay with the 450W Corsair I recommended since that is the requirement for running an 8800GT.

The 8800GT is only about 10% more expensive than the 8800GT, and the GT performs a fair bit better. I recommended the parts on the basis that you weren't overclocking. But if you are then that changes everything and you will have to spend more on better RAM, an aftermarket cooler, and a better PSU.

What would u recommend for a cooler and PSU?
