Default AMD Phenom 2 vs AMD A8

Hi All,

I am tossing up between two budget PC's. Both PC's have AMD processors, one is an AMD Phenom II x2 64 Bit 3.2Ghz and the other is an AMD A8 3850 Quad Core Fusion APU - 2.9GHz - 4MB Cache.

Which of the two processors do you believe is better and why?

The A8 3850 because going forward that dual core is going to hold you back. Another reason the quad is worthwhile is because of the integrated graphics on the chip. Very fast for integrated, and no need to worry about performance sucking - have had the A8's on hand at work a couple times now, and we love them.
