Default amd overclocking

im new to amd overclocking and from what ive heard its pretty much the same as intel so when i overclock my amd 64 3200+ vencice cpu to 2500MHz the speed of my ram goes down why does it do that?

Not if you do it correctly, you can get a decent overclock on both your cpu and ram.

i see that these guides are talking about the memory divider which ive read about before but i just cant find it in my bios so i think thats why im getting confused does anyone know where it is on a A8N SLi deluxe mobo?

no idea. check the manual... lol. i don't have that mobo so I cant really tell you. try pressing F2 or F10 or one of those... they usually work. Works for me at least...

that cpu has a three year money back warranty, you'll void it if you overclock, just letting you know.

i know and i dont care i just want to overclock to at least 2.4GHz without my ram slowing down
