Asus boards are good for overclocking . . .

And stop being a fanboy and go with a 4870. I got one and overclocked it to the highest settings in CCC(750Mhz Core to 790Mhz, and 900Mhz Memory to 1100Mhz Memory, which is quad data rate DDR5 Memory so the effective speed of it is 4400Mhz!) All that without having to do a pencil mod, or mess with voltages. Runs at 40C ideal and never goes above 60C load at 50% fan speed. At 40% or 30% its only about a 3 to 6 degree change. GET ONE.

Plus, the 4870 is WAY better that a 9800GTS. A 4870 is better than a GTX260 for god sake.

Neither, Sapphire's 780G is the only 780G board with 5 phase power, which is important for decent overcloocking.
If you're overclocking a Phenom though, you'll want a board with the new SB750 southbridge.

And there is no one motherboard is better than another. There is no rule stating "ASUS is good for overclocking".

Ummmmmm... So I should get an AMD NB chipset and maybe a 9800 GTS?
9800GTS doesn't exist, perhaps you're talking about the 9800GTX or 8800GTS? The HD 4850 is in the same price range but is faster than both.

Just copy my post, not yours, then paste it between two quote tags.
