one of my friends broke his so i wanna get one.

and i add 1 stick of 256 megs of ddr ram,
would it work?

How do you "break a MBD"?
You will have to look in flee markets and bargain bins,unless another member has a better solution.

You can only get the latest and greatest ddram on the net,so forget it,it does not answer your ?

You were talking about SD RAM? Yeah - that'd work.

About the SD RAM - try to find a back way computer shop; there's always one somewhere. They'll price you more than its worth by about twice but you'll find it. Better idea is to scrap it and sort out a new one.
