Default AMD or core2duo?

Which brand of PC would be better for gaming, the AMD athlon or intel core2duo? I play World of Warcraft and Age of empires series alot, and Want something that would be good for running the games on there highest settings.

As of right now Intel Core 2 Duo is at the top.

Intel is technically better, I still prefer AMD way way way better!

Ive always prefered AMD, but right now i would go for the Core2Duo

core 2 duo is a lot better. But you won't need a really good processor for either of those games.

Yeah, the budget semprons can be OCed to 3.4 ghz like mine!

What do you have, like phase change cooling (about $500)? The fastest Sempron is clocked at like 2 GHz stock speed.

Wait, do you have a Sempron 3400+? Then that's not 3.4 Ghz, it's the name of the processor.
