Default AMD Athon

I'm a lil confused on what processor to get. I see all this AMD Athon 64 FX, or AMD Athon 64 X2, well I don't knwo the difference, which would be better for gaming? I game, and web design.

You will benefit the most with the Athlon 64 FX CPU for all your needs, especially in gaming. It's the most expensive CPU by AMD. Athlon 64 X2 are dual core processors that performs excellent on extreme multitasking conditions.

If you're going to game, and want a system that will last longer, definitely go with the Athlon 64 FX. Dual core is becoming more and more dominant over single core, and you'll benefit from it greatly in the long run.
