Default AMD Athlon XP 3200+ VS Celeron D 2.93 (340)

The AMD is my old processor I purchased in 2001 and the Intel chip is the one I ordered this Monday, which by the way, I cannot return. Will the Celeron chip have any advantage to the AMD? The AMD chip is kinda old but by looking at the specs, it looks like it might actaully be better than the celeron d in that it has a larger L2 cache (512, comapred to the Celeron's 256. Will the cache size make that much of a difference? Also how does the celeron go for games?

Is the AMD a standard Athlon or is it a 64-bit?
