Default AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4.ghz AM2 Socket Processor???

Cant find one. Dont recomend Dual Core please . The 3800+ is the highest AM2 socket processor I can find.

They don't make a 4000+ that's not dual core for AM2.

Well, it seems the 4000+ was a socket 939 processor. The highest single core AM2 is the 3800+.

Yeah, a friend of mine has a 4000+ 939.. clawhammer core.

clawhammer?...Whats that me , lol, and FINE i guess ill go core, im sure ill be happy in the long run. Now i just gotta figure out if the 500Watt PSU I have will be enough.

A geforce 7600gt, 2 DDR2 Sticks, Mobo, no special things to make it cool, no fancy lights and shit, a couple of fans. Harddrive, one Cd Drive, no floppy drive

geforce 7600GT = goooooooood shiiiaaaattt...

Clawhammer is just the particular core that goes to that CPU.. thats all.

Yea the Geforce looks to be a bangin card. First PC build thats why I was unsure about the Watts, Im an angry console gamer thats turned me onto PC

I have a 460 watt PSU.. 2 hard drives, one cd rom, a 7600GT, and AMD64 3200+.. pretty rock solid.
