Question AMD Athlon 64 3000+ and motherboard help

Hello everybody, I just needed some help with an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ and a Foxconn 6100K8MA-RS motherboard upgrade. Right now I have some kind of Intel peice of junk with a 400 MHz FSB, 512 MB of ram, only 3 PCI slots, and a Intel Celeron D 2.93 GHz processor. The Foxconn motherboard has a 1000 MHz FSB(2000 MT/s), DDR 400 (pc 3200) dual channel, and its a socket 939. The AMD processor is an AMD Athlon 64 3000+, socket 939, and something like HT 2000 MHz. Does anyone know if the Foxconn motherboard and AMD processor are compatible with each other?
