AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor

Anyway, out of those two proccessors, which one is more likeyl to come in an eMachines. This eMachines was purchased at Wal-mart. So it cant be that great right? But anyway one of these is the processor that came in it. And can either of the processors (not over clocked) out perform my (p.4-3.0ghz) intel processor. Im sure the 939 might not have a problem doing it...

I would have to say newcastle just because I have a gateway using the newcastle core and emachines bought gateway so yeah. Yeah, a 3000+ is on par with a 3.2ghz I think, in some ways, better too. Socket 939 too. Upgradablility to the dual cores in the future man... all the way!
