I have (OR RATHER I USED TO HAVE) a AMD Athlon XP 2700 processor and now i reformatted it says i have A AMD ATHLON XP 1500, wat has happened and how could i put it right? The only thing i can think off is the company i bought it off changed it somehow

You FSB needs to be changed in the bios bach to 333. With that speed I am guessing they are set at either 266 or 200 right now.

umm search around in them somthing like umm i cant remember just look for memory agp fsb chipset. they should be all in one category.

I had a look under advanced chipset features i noted a few things
Current cpu clock=1300 MHZ (Cannot change this unchangeable)
CPU FSB Clock=100 MHZ (Maximum i can change this to is 166 MHZ)
Current DRAM Clock=166 MHZ
I havent changed anything yet, does any of that info help?

yeah the 100 is the safe mode default. I guess I should've tolld you the fsb without the ddr acoutned for. That probably would have been easier.
