Default Amd 64 2700+

I never heard of it?

I was on Techpowerup website and I saw the "AMD 64 2700+". The other weird thing is, it says it 130nm core that runs @ 1.2V. That makes no sence, I never heard of a 130nm core @ that voltage on stock speeds

It was probably one of the launch chips on 939.

nope, its probably fake. There was no 2700+. 1.2V is too low for stock anyways, even if it is 65nm.

Yeah, it's fake. AMD never made a 2700+ model. The 3000+ was the lowest they went, but I think they were or are going to come out with a 2800+ for AM2.

I remember seeing a really rare AMD chip for sale on another forum I go to. It was just an ES or somthing and never actually made it to production. Maybe this is one of those, though 1.2v is REALLY low.

EDIT:

That is what I was talking about, maybe it is somthing like that.

Yeah, sometimes people get engineering samples that never make it into the manufacturing stage.

Oh, I guess they made it for Socket 939. I wasn't too sure, because AMD pretty much EOL'ed all the low-end Socket 939 Athlon 64's.

Dude, read my whole post. Notice how I said, "were or are going to?" Before you start critizing others, please think and read the WHOLE post first.
