Default am2?

was it a goof to buy a am2 processor?

does amd have something up their sleeve?

do you think they will change the socket again when they release their new processors?

not that i'm un-happy with my 3800 it oc'd easy as pie after fixing ram stuff.

Nah, AMD makes good stuff. It just so happens that intel did a better job this time around. I bet socket AM2 will be around for a while, it's just the inner working of the chips themselves that need looking at. All the new component support is there it just isn't using them to the full potential.

Sure, but you can get Skt 939 for some great buys.

It will be a long time before they change their socket and even still be a long time before they release anything new. I haven't heard anything..

Well if your not unhappy with it then whats the big deal?
