okay, i went to find a new firefox theme to match my vista style on my desktop, and it said i needed 1.5 or 1.6 version of firefox for the theme, so i went to the about page (help>about mozilla firefox) and i saw i have version 7, which was weird because then on the front page of firefox's website it says new version 1.5!!

so yeah wtf?

Anyway, where did you download Firefox? I'd reccomend downloading it directly from http://mozilla.org

I don't know where it is exactly, but you might be able to manipulate the version number that appears somewhere in the Registry. (Start>Run>Regedit)

To fix it, I'd remove Firefox completely (including the directory), and do a clean install.

That will fix it, I'm sure.
