9800GT for the same price.

Your 5400+ X2 won't get much more performance from 1066 RAM than from DDR 800. You can save some money there.

And the Xigmatek HDT-S963 is a better cooler than the Freezer 64.

i saw the 9800gt but i thought the 9600gt would be better because it has 100 more MHz core clock than the 9800gt, would the 9800gt still be better to go with?

the mb says 1066 standard, so it will still be fine to run the ddr2 800, or is 1066 still ok as well. other than that does it look ok.

9800GT has twice the stream processors, twice the TMUs, twice the ROPs and so on... It's quite a bit faster.

Yes, it will still run 800, and 1066 won't get go any performance gain over 800 so it's best just to save your money there.

Weird... the cheaper one is more powerful?

From what I can tell, the cheaper one is the Overclocked edition, making it slightly faster than the original, but still the same card, by the same manufacturer.

Strange, but take it while you can I say.
