Default AGP vs PCI-E

Is PCI-E gradually making AGP redundant? I see that the more expensive boards are the only ones that have the PCI-E interface. What is the upside to PCI-E compared to AGP?

Default Re: AGP vs PCI-E

PCI-E is much more fasterthan AGP and supports newer video cards.

AGP is sometimes a bottleneck to your computer
