I'm so glad I've stayed with AGP then in that case, as thats not obselete yet I believe.
I believe like AGP 8x and the other AGP formats up to 2x, cards will be able to use both types for a while, and so the 32x will play the 16x, and also, 32x cards will play on 16x cards.
I guess that'll be the case, until cards actually use all the 16x bandwidth and need more.
AGP for example though now needs 8x bandwidth to get the full capability of the card. I have a 4x motherboard downstairs on my other computer, and it doesn't allow the full use of effects, or the speed the 9800 PRO 128mb card is actually capable of.

There was an article in a magizine I read a while ago and they were comparing AGP and pci-e. Well there wasnt reallly a big difference between the two I dont think. So yeah AGP isnt obselete yet.
