Just do a fresh install of XP and you'll be sailing again. OK?

@JXiPlatform: No he won't be sailing again. He'll lose his data (if he hasn't already).

Typically a new install will overwrite any data on the disk already. I'm leaning toward saying that the data is gone. If your old username isn't in the documents and settings folder, then it has probably been deleted.

If you 'installed' as opposed to 'repairing' then it is gone.
