AMD is far better, for the simple reason that they can make great-performing CPU's without having to resort to consuming a ridiculous amount of energy and simply upping clock speeds.

I would never buy a PC with an Intel CPU. My money's going to AMD or VIA (for the new C7 CPU).

My choice is AMD. From what I read also about AMD, not only cheaper, but somewhat faster than Intel.
