i would think if it was socket am3 it would fit....

thats a really new cpu, and i need to find a cooler so i can oc it (its BE)

yeah it should fit because it fits the other AM3 chips. I don't see why it would be any different than the others. Unless it is abnormally large it should work. They usually don't update those support lists immediately and that chip just came out.

should i just wait to overclock until a cpu cooler that supports that chip comes out...just to make sure?

No, it will fit. No heatsink is manufactured to be made for an exact CPU. If it works on one socket, it will work on all of them. Take my Xigmatek HDT S1283 for example. It doesn't state that it will work with an i7 chip here.

I am pretty sure that it will support it considering how long the TRUE has been out and is still compatible with the I7 chips. The compatibilty is usually the socket type and not really as much the cpu itself. The only thing you really would have a problem with is if the socket is not compatible or the base of the heatsink is too small for your chip. I don't think I've seen a heatsink with a base that small before.

yeah i know. it is kind of weird, but it has gotten nothing but excellent ratings at a low price tag... so i do want it.

u guys are like 90-95% sure it will fit right
