Default Affordable gaming laptop

would you guys know a pretty good laptop for the price for the main purposes of gaming? The main game that is going to be played is wow, and I know that wow isn't really hard on your system, but the person that it is going to be for also wants to have the option to play steam games like half life and counterstrike pretty well. The laptop they were looking at was Alianware M11x for $599, everything looks good on it, but the screen is only 11".... Is there anything else around that price that would be good?

Thanks a lot.

not many laptops are designed with gaming as a main use, that job tends to be reserved for desktops that dont require tiny GPUs (e.g. the Sapphire Radeon cards arent exactly small)

Alienware are the only company i can think of off-hand that make laptops for gaming as a main purpose, atleast at a 'reasonably' affordable price.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-715-_-Product

This laptop should run pretty much everything. It's refurbed, but ASUS refurbs tend to be fine.

Alienware is owned by Dell. There's a difference.

Not really. Most intel laptops will also have intel graphics, which are just plain awful. All you'll be able to play with that is stuff like Doom III.
