advertisement bug?

So throughout the day I will get these advertisements that you think would go along with a pop-up, but instead of the pop-up being there, I just get sound coming out of my speakers like "you are eligible for a free ipod nano" or today I heard a couple about someone giving me $40,000 to start my business. Any idea what this could be or how to get rid of it? Thanks!

I hear that too, but I think it's just advertisement built into some web pages, I get it on Demonoid once in a while...

I'm not sure though...
