Adding USB 2.0 ports to PC with none

I have an old computer in the basement that's mine and it has no USB 2.0 ports. I need them because transferring files has become a huge pain and now I'm having trouble restoring my new iPod touch because of it. If I buy this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815124049

Does that go inside my computer? I'm looking to take out the old USB ports and replace them because none of them or 2.0. Will this work for that?

It will. But what do you mean by removing the old ports? If their built into the motherboard they cant come out. If you have a card you can take that out. But that card will work.

I would go with this Card instead of that one. Most of the time older computers have a Floppy Drive in use on the computer. That card uses a Floppy power input.

Much easier to install and no need to connect cables to anything. Just find the right slot and plug it in.
