ad-aware question

I have ad-aware on my PC and when I start my PC up, it places ad-aware in my system tray. I went in to msconfig and un-selected it so it would not start up but it still does. Is there away to prevent this from happening?

I tried uninstalling it but when I do, my quick launch bar disappears so that isn't an option. I tried looking at the apps to find away to stop it from happening but can't find anything there. I have completely scanned my HD's with avira, SAS and malwarebytes every week.

I used to have Ad-Aware on here regularly with the last being the 2007 version. That was simply replaced with a program found more effective then Malwarebytes and other programs providing a guard around the system registry along with threat detection/removal. http://www.spywareterminator.com/

Want something better then the limited space seen on the quick launch bar in XP or Vista. Try something to make life like Windows 7 for the two previous versions. http://rocketdock.com/

That should work out for you if you get used to seeing the recycle bin icon on a taskbar rather then the desktop unless moved out from under it. But it can really save on desktop space! I know that one well enough.
