I have a legal copy of windows xp pro and have been using it for aobut 8 months now. All of the sudden my comp shuts down and asks me to activate windows so..i do then it goes away *phew* haven't backed up in a while bad idea to lose it all. So i go along with my business and whabam! activate so i do it seems to me that either my windows is gong defective or something is blocking my start up windows checker..i'm not for sure scanned for spyware/malware using spybot, lavasoft ad-aware, i have zone alarm pro so i doubt i have any trojans..but i scanned with avg free and antivir and am now going to scan with panda online but any suggestions??
