Exclamation Acer P243WAid 24” What a great Monitor!

So last night the order that I had placed from newegg for my little brother has finally arrived. It is the (Acer P243WAid Black-Silver 24” Monitor).

Since my brothers PC is currently out of order, we decided to put it in my room next to my monitor for now, until he fixes his PC. My current monitor is Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP-HC (24-inch). When I put them side by side I was shocked to see how the colors in Acer are more vivid, brighter & sharper! I had spent about an hour trying to mess with the DELL’s settings trying to adjust the colors, gamma & brightness, but doesn’t matter how much I tried the difference was still humongous! For some reason I wasn’t able to access the Sharpness, Aspect ratio & Zoom in DELL’s monitor, maybe someone knows the secret how to access those features? Is this the normal performance that should be expected from the Acers $280 monitor VS Dell’s $550? I know that 2407WFP-HC is about 2 years old, but I was shocked to see how big the difference was! Is this normal? Or is my monitor messed up? Here is the link to the DELL’s 2407WFP-HC specs.

PS: I have DELL’s 2408WFP waiting for me at home, it just arrived.
