Default About to buy RAM

Hello All,

I recently started a thread asking some questions about RAM. Everyone was helpful, especially wol-va-rine. He kindly recommend this RAM for my system:

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231047

I just wanted to confirm that this RAM is good before I buy it?

Regards,
Cantona

a little costly for only 2gb ddr 400, but of course, its older so you really don't have many choices.

I just purchased this for an old dell. The price DID go up though..I think I got it for 35 bucks with the rebate. I love OCZ, and the minute it went in it worked. However, it's out of stock, and GSkill is a great brand, so you can go with that and be just fine!

The G.SKILL is good stuff. Runs quick and is extremely reliable. We had 2GB DDR 400 in one rig and am now running 4GB DDR2 800 in another without a problem.

AR,
G.Skill sounds like a superb brand...in fact, I'm tossed up between that and OCZ for a RAM upgrade in my current system...partially due to newegg's poor website updating, but I'll start a thread on that later Hopefully you'll have some insight for me then!

Yea, don't let the low cost fool ya. G.Skill has been around for a while and they make some quality memory. They have some stuff that's known to overclock really well too.

Man, the total opposite of what we were trying to accomplish.

Just kidding. Have fun!
